Dr. Roccanova is a graduate of Gonzaga University, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Chemistry. He completed his professional training at Loyola University, Chicago College of Dental Surgery, and has maintained a private practice in Cheney, WA. Dr. Roccanova is Visiting Faculty at the leading advanced dental education institution in the U.S., The Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
In the 1980ís and 90ís he was a part time clinical instructor at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. During those years his interests and studies focused on fixed and removable prosthodontics, implant and cosmetic dentistry.
In the 1980’s Dr. Roccanova was selected among a limited number of restorative dentists in the U.S. to be trained in the restoration of the revolutionary Branemark or “Swedish” implant system, which continues to be a significant part of his practice and a referral source from his colleagues.
Dr. Roccanova is very active in continuing education. He is a member of several advanced study groups that collaborate regularly on current technologies of implant, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association the Washington State Dental Association, and the Spokane District Dental Society.
